Thursday Night
I'll keep this short as I have to get up very early to go to the airport, but I wanted to keep you all updated. I was able to talk with Dad today and he definitely sounded much more like himself than he did last weekend. As far as I know his blood values were better today and he said that he felt better today. Tomorrow the physical therapist is supposed to come in and evaluate Dad and get him out of bed. So there is definite progress and hopefully dad will be able to come home soon. I will try and post again once I'm down in TX.

Hi Brenna,
ReplyDeleteI hope you don't mind me writing since you don't know me. So sorry I didn't find out about your Dad until today. Your Mom and Dad both were big influences and mentors in my life as a young Christian at St. Andrews Pres. Church in Redondo Beach. I was a very shy and quiet Jr. high kid and your dad helped me to come out of my shell somewhat. He always made me feel as though I mattered. Many of my memories of Catalina Camp include Ken Ghent. I am shocked and sad to know what you all are going through and want to send my love to you and your family. Please give your dad a hug from me.
